for most folks with lower level HP that don't drag or road race their cars, the stock units are fine. I've gone thru three LSD units over the last 7 years of drag racing and street driving. I had my diff. shop tear the stock unit apart and they determined what I think most of us already know...they can't be rebuilt. The Quaife unit is a great set up for drag and road racing. My only complaint is that the name sounds like a bodily function....other than that, if you race your car somewhat frequently in various venues, it can pay for itself as it is fairly bullet proof, and I believe rebuildable.
